Growing up in a small village on the island of Rhodes, in Greece Kula’s childhood was enriched with generations of traditions, family values and treasured memories.

Walls covered in hand loomed tapestry's, hand painted fashions and interiors, old photos. Family tailors and seamstresses, embroiderers and lace makers, creators of small labours of love, built a magical canvas close to Kula’s heart.

In 1993 her passion and determination brought her to England where she explored her dream in Fashion, creating Kula Tsurdiu the brand, in 2000.

Amongst centuries of lace making heritage, kula's studio is set in an old lace factory in the very heart of Nottingham's historic lace market.

Love, passion and heritage are the encompassing elements which influence Kula’s impeccable design integrity and craftsmanship.
